COVID-19
The Government guidance and advice for educational settings has significantly changed from 1 April 2022 and below is the guidance that as a Trust we are currently following:
Students with COVID Symptoms (no test)
Although there is no longer a legal requirement to self-isolate, the advice is that people with symptoms of COVID-19 or other respiratory infections should stay at home.
If people do not/cannot test but have symptoms then they stay at home whilst they are unwell, otherwise they will be in school/work. People can return to work or school when they no longer feel unwell or have a high temperature.
Students with a Positive COVID Test Result
If a student does have a positive COVID-19 test they should try to stay at home for 3 days after the test and return to school if they feel well enough to do so and do not have a high temperature. Household contacts of someone with COVID-19 should continue to attend school as usual.
