Welcome to Vega College,

Vega College is an exciting new provision which enables student from Key Stage 4, all across Doncaster, to access a work based  education alongside their mainstream setting. 

We are determined that our students succeed and leave us as confident, articulate and well- rounded young people, fully equipped for life and work in the 21st century. Our high aspirations, belief and high expectations create an environment which supports and challenges everyone to achieve their full potential, both inside and outside the classroom and work place.

Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff are committed to providing every young person at Vega College with the very best start in life and education of the highest possible standard, starting with a personalised learning plan which sets out their individual journey to reach their personal goals.

As part of the Leger Trust Academy, the vision “Truly great students in truly great schools” is part of everything we do.  Our aims relate to providing a high quality education for all where the quality of teaching and learning supports the achievements and wider development of all our students. This will be achieved by working closely with the pupils, parents, multi-agencies and main stream secondary schools to create a personalised package for each individual pupil.

Our students will benefit from a highly personalised curriculum underpinned by the use of innovative learning resources and a commitment to ensuring each and every student leaves Vega College with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed in their chosen education or career path. 

We are a team and we strive to make sure that every child will be successful in the challenging and competitive world around us; they are provided with opportunities to add to their cultural capital, pursue their interests, and achieve their ambitions.

As the Head, I have a passionate belief that every student, no matter who they are or where they are from, deserves the very best education in order for them to follow their aspirations and goals. At Vega College, we support everyone to achieve the very best so that this becomes a reality.
